Mobile Computing Industry
The mobile computing industry consists of all entities that play a role in enabling wireless connectivity. It includes manufacturers of mobile computing devices who produce different items such as laptops, laptop PCs, tablet PCs, palmtops, personal digital assistant (PDAs) & other hand held devices.
It consists of Wi-Fi(wireless fidelity) network service providers who provide wireless network coverage to offices, public places, & other small workplaces. They use a wireless access point tool to provide wire free network coverage in the designated area. They use 802.11b & 802.11a IEEE(Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers) standard access point devices to transmit knowledge at two.4 GHz & five GHz respectively.
